There are several questions always asked during my photography classes. Every student is quite interesting to know the answer to this specific question “ Why do photographers prefer good looking models why not others? “ Even those who are not in this photography, cinematography profession. They are also keen to know the answer to this question. Sometimes few young people want to be a model, actor, stage-artist etc. But normal looks hold them back to proceed further in the glamour world.
- You do not look good, beautiful, handsome etc Then there is no place in the glamour world.
- If you are not a tall, dark, good looking person then you should not try to be a fashion-model
- Good height, fair complexion, good physique are the basic requirements for becoming a model.
What is the truth behind this?
As a professional photographer or as per my practical experience in this field. I would like to answer this question “Why do photographers prefer good looking models why not others?” is a myth. Here I would like to mention that this question hardly carries any weightage to proceed further.
All the celebrities, famous models look so beautiful on the Tv screen, Big Screen, Cinemas etc. But all these famous celebrities look normal in their daily routine life. Nowadays, we have youtube and I would like to request to you check their normal life and must compare both the look (normal and screen) then you may reach the conclusion.
Conclusion – Every model, actor, actress, stage artist are highly stylised by make-up artist, fashion designers, hairstylist and other end numbers coordinators’ effort to make them good looking, beautiful. Besides these efforts, other technology like cameras, lighting, creatives, background are also highly responsive to make them beautiful and good looking. There is no normal, ugly look matter, Only matter your talent to perform in front of the camera. That’s the only requirement, Remember
Every human is really good looking, you need to have that photography eye.
